Meet the Gals - Lori - Quite Simply Us

I guess we’ve made it through the girls and it’s time to talk about myself. The Quite Simply Us blog is my brainchild and I’m lucky enough to have three besties cheering me on and supporting me in this new endeavor.

I’m probably one of the more studious of the bunch. I’m an introvert, who likes to spend time at home, writing and reading. I enjoy cultural activities like the ballet or an art museum. I’m a bit of a foodie and will eat nearly anything once.

Oh, I greatly appreciate sarcasm and often cuss like a sailor. I’m pretty crafty and give lots of handmade gifts during the holidays. I love to cook, which ties in with my love of planning events and catering gatherings.

I LOVE Ohio State Buckeye football and spend a good portion of my fall tossing foam bricks (thanks, Heidi…best gift ever) at the TV and screaming at the top of my lungs!

I have a lifelong dream to spend lots of time in Paris, getting inspired and writing my heart out while sitting at an outdoor cafe for hours on end! I’ve been writing since I was pretty young and used to sit in the middle of my bed with my typewriter making up stories 🙂 Eeeek…I dated myself again. The laptop may have taken the place of the typewriter, but the love of writing hasn’t changed.

As a fun little thing, I wondered how well each of us knew one another. I asked the girls some simple questions about myself and answered them as well. The goal was to find out how well they actually know me! For the most part, my lovelies know me extremely well – even the answers I didn’t give myself are on point!
